Harness Racing Australia (HRA) is advising the harness racing industry for a second time of its intent to introduce, implement and enforce a ban on the use of anabolic steroids in Standardbreds from 1 May, 2014.
HRA Members are currently in the final stages of approving the full wording and implementation details of the new Rules, which will prohibit the use of anabolic androgenic steroids – including therapeutic use.
Notice is again being given in an effort to inform and advise the industry of the pending introduction of the new rule come 1 May 2014.
