New national rules adopted

Tuesday 9 August 2016

Amendments to the Greyhounds Australasia Rules (National Rules) have been adopted by Tasracing effective from 1 September 2016.

The amendments provide a new definition of “presentation” or “presented” as well as introducing threshold levels for testosterone in male greyhounds and arsenic.

A copy of both the amendments as well as a full version of the amended GAR Rules is available from the Race Day Office at each track, Office of Racing Integrity or Tasracing’s website (www.tasracingcorporate.com.au).

Also available is a copy of the information sheets produced by Greyhounds Australasia on the thresholds introduced for testosterone in male greyhounds and arsenic.
