Commencing Thursday 6 October 2016, the loop arm lure will be used for all races and trials at all tracks. The Devonport lure will be inspected by ORI stewards on Friday 23 September 2016.
The loop arm lure has been used successfully at trials for a considerable period of time.
Tasracing will continue to monitor all equipment and are happy to discuss any concerns and/or suggestions from any party.
The Stewards advise that in the event that a greyhound marrs or fails to pursue, the differing lure will not be accepted as a form of defence.
