THE night thoroughbred racing season that was due to conclude on March 28 has been extended.
An additional night meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 24 which replaces the Launceston meeting that was scheduled for Sunday, April 22.
The meeting was changed to the Tuesday night to coincide with a meeting in Singapore with the Tasmanian meeting to be beamed into that country.
Sky Channel will provide the coverage through Sky Thoroughbred Central that will include mounting yard coverage, full form analysis, commentary and post-race interviews with industry participants.
The last night meeting to be delivered to the French market is on March 21 with the season’s penultimate night meeting the following Wednesday night.
After the April 24 meeting, night racing will go into recess until September with the first night meeting of the 2018-19 season to be delivered into France on October 31.
