Tasracing has this evening received confirmation from Racing Victoria that the test result for the interstate jockey who had potentially been exposed to COVID-19 has returned as negative.
Following this outcome, Tasracing has withdrawn its advice to self-isolate due to potential exposure.
The race meeting postponed in Launceston on Wednesday, March 25 will be tentatively rescheduled for this Saturday 28 March. Final confirmation will follow on the morning of Friday 27 March.
The proposed rescheduled Saturday meeting will be conducted in an afternoon timeslot.
