Tasracing notes and welcomes comments by Premier Peter Gutwein that the Tasmanian racing industry will be provided with a date for the resumption of racing at the end of this week.
Mr Eriksson said Tasracing had been working hard during the shutdown to protect stakes levels going forward.
“At this stage we are confident there will be no stakes reductions,” he said.
“If there is real damage to our market share we will need to evaluate options, however we should be able to cover the existing stakes levels as a minimum.”
