Greyhounds will see an increase of 1 meeting (160) for the 2024-25 season due to the fall of the calendar.
With the transferred meetings from DAPS continuing, Launceston will hold 28 of these meetings with Hobart to hold the remaining 23 meetings.
The Group 3 Ladbrokes Chase will remain in January for 2025. The heats will be run on Tuesday 7 January with the final being held 9 days later, 16 January for a showcase Thursday night meeting.
The 2025 Group 2 Launceston Cup will return to a Monday night after being conducted on a Saturday night for the past two years. Heats will be held on Monday 27 January and the final on Monday 3 February 2025.
With the National Sprint and Distance Grand Finals scheduled again this year, Launceston will host two Thursday nights on SKY 1 (1 and 8 August 2024). Hobart will host two Monday night meetings (5 and 12 August) to make up for the transferred meetings.
Hobart is scheduled to host the Good Friday meeting on 18 April 2025 as a dual code meeting with the Tasmanian Trotting Club. There will be 8 greyhound races programmed for this meeting.
Hobart will race in its traditional night slot on Boxing Day. Hobart will hold the Ulverstone Pet Foods Tasmanian Breeders Classic final on Christmas Eve in a day slot with Launceston to hold a day meeting on New Years Eve.
