Several of the best sires available to the Australian breeding industry are set to feature at the 2019 Tasmanian Harness Yearling Sale to be held at Carrick Park on Saturday.

The list is headed up by Bettor’s Delight, the leading Australian sire for the last seven years, Four Starzzz Shark, the sire of millionaire pacers Lennytheshark and Frith, and Sportswriter, the sire of Inter Dominion placegetter Our Uncle Sam.

The Tasmanian-based Stonebridge Regal, a 1:48 son of Artsplace, has the biggest draft at the sale with five – two colts, two fillies and a gelding.

Others stallions with progeny in the sale are the Inter Dominion and Little Brown Jug winner Mr Feelgood, Heston Blue Chip, the sire of 2018 top USA two-year-old filly Zero Tolerance, and proven local stallion Sutter Hanover.
