The 2018 Tasmanian Standardbred Yearling and Mixed Sale will be held on Wednesday, February 14 starting at 2pm at the Inveresk Showground, Launceston.
The sale includes yearlings by highly credentialled sires such as USA 2YO of the Year and the world’s fastest ever two-year-old Sweet Lou, the triple world champion Pet Rock, the Canadian Aged Pacer of the Year Betterthancheddar, world champion Hurrikane Kingcole, NZ 2YO and 3YO of the Year Courage Under Fire, USA 2YO Colt of the Year Village Jolt, Breeders Crown champion Tintin In America and the Governor’s Cup winner Sutter Hanover.
There are two three-year-old fillies in Invest, a dual winner and a placegetter in the Blue Bonnet and Debutante Stakes, and Invil, a winning Grinfromeartoear mare whose dam is a half-sister to Beautide.
The catalogue also includes the well-bred broodmares Avaricious, a daughter of broodmare gem Barrington Lass, and Karalta Lady, the dam of All Style Sammy and the Belmont winner Lady Olive Oyle.
