Sprint winner provides a timely boost

The brilliant win of Lombo Navigator in the Village Kid Sprint Consolation at Gloucester Park last Friday in a new lifetime mark of 1:53.3 has given a terrific boost to the Tasmania Premier Yearling Sale to be conducted by Davidson Cameron & Co Dubbo Pty Ltd at Launceston on Saturday afternoon.

A Shadow Play half-sister to Lombo Navigator will spearhead the seven-strong consignment of Lydon and Gail Menegon, of Big Park stud, Karoola at the sale.

The catalogue also features siblings to Tasmanian classic winners such as Gedlee, Idengood Time, Ess Kay Precious, Bonny Lena, Posh Art, El Jays Belle and Daisy Adele.

The sale boasts stock of 17 different stallions including champion sires in Bettors Delight, Live Or Die, Courage Under Fire and Grinfromeartoear and the exciting newcomers Shadow Play, Major In Art, Tiz A Masterpiece and Kenneth J.

A yearling parade will be held at 2pm followed by the sale at 4pm.

All yearlings presented for sale are eligible for a $2,000 First Win Bonus anywhere in Australia and $10,000 Tasmanian Yearling Sale Classics for two and three-year-olds of both sexes.
