Please note the rail for Sunday’s Hobart meeting has been amended.
The rail will be true the entire with the exception of the 1200m were the rail will be out 3 metres with a gradual shift back to true at the 1100m.
As a result of rain Thursday night and again Friday, along with colder than average temperatures on Friday, resulted in a softer section between the 1200m and the 1150m section, approximately two horses off the true position.
Upon inspection again Saturday morning, the area had failed to improve significantly enough for the rail to remain in the true position.
The amended rail position does not impact published field sizes.
