Please note the following details regarding upcoming programme alterations to 2014 Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival.
The Tasmanian Oaks will now be run on Wednesday 26 February, Launceston Cup Day and not 19 February 2014 as was originally programmed. This change is due to the traditional Oaks lead up race, the Strutt Stakes, being postponed from last Sunday 9 February until Friday 14 February.
The 3YO & Upwards Maiden Plate 1200m, that was scheduled for 26 February 2014 is deleted. This is to accommodate the Tasmanian Oaks being included in that meeting. The 3YO & Upwards Maiden Plate 1200m, that is programmed for 19 February 2014 will be divided if sufficient acceptances are received.
