The harness race meetings scheduled at Launceston on 5 June 2016 and Hobart on 6 June 2016 have been abandoned.
As a result of the meetings being abandoned the following changes have been made to race programs in June 2016.
Launceston Friday night 10 June 2016:
- Add $8,000 Globe Derby Prelude and $8,000 Bandbox Prelude. Fresh acceptances will be taken for both preludes. Horses that accepted for the 5 June 2016 preludes will be first selected. Preludes will be conducted if there are six or more acceptors. Original acceptors for the 5 June 2016 preludes will be first selected for the $30,000 finals on 19 June 2016 provided that trainers accept for the finals.
Hobart Sunday Twilight 12 June:
- Add $7,000 C6/C10 over 1609 metres.
$3,000 races
If there are sufficient acceptors, Tasracing will conduct $3,000 lower point’s races during June 2016.
