Tasracing in conjunction with the North West Greyhound Racing Club and the Devonport Harness Racing Club is pleased to announce that following an initiative by the clubs, a double header greyhound and harness meeting will be held on Friday 2 February, 2018.
The programme will consist of 8 greyhound and 9 harness events and will commence with greyhound races as a twilight meeting. It will then be combined with the harness races then concluding with the remainder of the harness races.
The normal procedures in place for Devonport meetings may be changed to accommodate for the additional races and the officials and patrons that will be in attendance on the night so all participants are asked to observe the instructions given by officials on the night.
Tasracing CEO, Vaughn Lynch, said that Tasracing was happy to support the clubs who had developed the proposal and was confident that the meeting would be a great opportunity for them to showcase harness and greyhound racing on the same night.
