With the recommencement of racing from June 13, race meetings as schedule in the calendar will continue through to 31 July 2020 with Launceston on Monday night 15 June 2020, Devonport on Tuesday afternoon 16 June and Hobart on Thursday night 18 June 2020 in the first week.
Due to the shutdown of racing, the Forthcoming Programs for June and July have been amended and can be viewed from here.
The programming of Feature Races has also been impacted with some races and series being deleted while the following events have been postponed:
With the Hobart Tasmanian Breeders Classic being rescheduled, the heats will now be held on Saturday morning 11 July 2020. Nominations will close at 10am on Monday 6 July 2020. This change will also impact the nominations for the HGRC meeting on 16 July with nominations for this meeting now closing at 10am on Monday 13 July 2020.
All races will be scheduled and conducted with stake money being as allocated prior to the shutdown.
A full listing of the Feature Events for 2020/21 will be available on the near future, however with the abandonment of the National Sprint and Distance Grand Finals, a State Sprint Championship, conducted as a best 8 over 461 metres with no residential restrictions, will be scheduled at Hobart on 13 August 2020.
