Tasracing is pleased to share the first draft design of the proposed North West Coast greyhound track
This first draft track design is a direct result of the greyhound industry workshop held at Mowbray Racecourse on 18 Nov 22
Each of those in attendance, from across the Tasmanian clubs, took advantage of the opportunity to share their views and experience on what the proposed track should look like with animal welfare being the key driving principle behind the design
Professor David Eager from UTS also presented on key risk and engineering principles which further guided the revised track development. The first draft will be revised over the coming weeks with a view to being finalised over the December 22/January 23 period in line with the Development Application process
