Hello Everyone on the NWC

Please find an update as follows in relation to racing and training facilities –

• Tasracing is negotiating to extend the lease of the Maxfield’s fast-work track beyond the initial 1-year term
  

• The Showgrounds owner did not progress attempted discussions to access the property for limited greyhound training
  

• Planning Approval process at Mill Rd –
  

• • Tasracing has secured a Development Application from Latrobe Council
    
  • Council have requested further information to support the Application
    
  • Tasracing has supplied some of the requested information and we expect to supply the remainder in 2-3 weeks
    
  • Subject to Council’s agreement that all required information has been provided, Council will then advertise the Application
    
  • Tasracing will provide another update when advised the Application is to be advertised
    

• A Quantity Surveyor has been engaged and Tasracing expect that report to be delivered mid-February
  

• Track designs at Mill Rd
  

• • After extensive consultation with participants and external experts, the harness and greyhound concept track designs are finalised and detailed design has commenced
