Tasracing are pleased to announce that following discussions with Sky Racing, two thoroughbred race meetings that are scheduled for Devonport on a Sunday in June 2023 have been altered to a Wednesday on Sky 1.
The meeting set down for Sunday June 4 will now be run on Wednesday June 7, whilst the meeting programmed for Sunday June 18 will now take place on Wednesday June 21.
This change will be on a trial basis initially with it giving the opportunity for the industry to have an additional two race free weekends and to gauge the interest in a Wednesday Sky 1 day slot through winter.
