With the transferred meetings from DAPS continuing in 2023/24, Launceston will now hold 31 of these meetings, an increase of 4 on 2022/23. The 2024 Launceston Cup will return to a Monday night, 29 January.
The Ladbrokes Chase has been moved to January 2024. The heats will be run on Tuesday 2 January with the final being held 9 days later, Thursday night, 11 January.
With the National Sprint and Distance Grand Finals scheduled again this year, Launceston will host two Thursday nights on Sky 1 (3 and 10 August 2023). Due to the implementation of the SafeChase lure at Hobart, they will only host the one Monday night meeting on 14 August 2023. Hobart will be out of action for a 10-day period while the new lure is installed.
Hobart is scheduled to host the Good Friday meeting on 29 March 2024 as a dual code meeting with the TTC. There will be 8 greyhound races programmed for this meeting.
The meeting scheduled for Boxing Day at Launceston will be held on Wednesday 27 as a Sky 2 Twilight meeting.
Launceston is scheduled to race the Monday night meeting on 26 February 2022, the week of the thoroughbred Launceston Cup.
