Tasmanian Government announces review into dog welfare regulations
The Tasmanian Government today announced that it will undertake a review of Tasmanian dog welfare regulations.

As you can see from reading the statement, dogs registered as greyhounds with Tasracing will be included in the review process.
On face value, Tasracing supports this work given the expected positive animal welfare outcomes.
Tasracing also notes and welcomes the opportunity to engage with the review and provide feedback on behalf of industry participants via consultation.
We will update industry on the review’s progress as appropriate.
