The 2024 Tasmanian Harness Yearling Sale at Carrick Park on Friday, 26 January was a success.
14 of 20 lots were sold at a clearance rate of 70%. The total gross of the sale was $292,500, with an average price of $20,893. Those figures are up on the 2023 Yearling Sale.
The two sale toppers were both $35,000 purchases.
Lot 7 was offered by Richard Hall, a Bay/Brown Colt by Lather Up USA – Weona Badgirl, purchased by Ben Yole Racing.
Lot 23 was entered by Melissa Maine, a Bay/Brown filly by Captain Crunch – Huiffier, purchased by Ashwood Racing Stables.
