Tasracing is operating on a sustainable financial basis for the first time since it was established in 2009.
Tasracing is now in a position to increase prizemoney and further grow the industry.
Tasracing, in conjunction with the Greyhound Reference Group is pleased to announce that as from 1 November 2017 the following increases will be provided to participants:
- All non-penalty races, including the heats of the Maiden Thousand, will remain at full stakes.
- Stakes for all races will increase by $160 per race with fourth placing increasing to a minimum of $80.
- A Starters Bonus of $100 is to be paid to the first Tasbred greyhound finishing in every race.
- A vaccination assistance of $200 per pup will be payable on registration of a litter with the Office of Racing Integrity.
