Hello and welcome to the Racing Owners Club Tasmania (ROCT)!
Starting at the DRC race meeting on Sunday 4 August, your ROCT host, Brent Crawford, will be located on track in a dedicated ROCT area for all members. Brent is a popular and knowledgeable figure in our industry and is looking forward to making your raceday experience as enjoyable as possible – anything you need, Brent’s your man!
ROCT will operate on all Devonport and Launceston thoroughbred race meetings with the support of the hosting race clubs. (At this stage the TRC has opted out of this initiative, but we hope to gain their support in future).
Anyone who owns a share in a Tasmanian thoroughbred, pacer or greyhound can register to join ROCT. There is no cost to join, with all ROCT programs and on-course hospitality funded by Tasracing in conjunction with Ladbrokes.
What do ROCT Members get for joining?
- Hosted race day area to catch up with fellow Owners

Why do I need to book a free ticket for raceday?
By registering in advance, you’ll help us ensure we’re fully prepared to cater to everyone on race day. It also allows us to keep improving your experience at the races based on your attendance and feedback.
If, for example, I have a share in a pacer, can I use the ROCT area at a gallops meeting?
Absolutely. All Owners across all Codes are welcome at every gallops race meeting hosted by the DRC and the TTC.
If I want to reserve a table in the ROCT area at a gallops meeting how do I do that?
Easy. Send an email to ownership@tasracing.com.au and Brent will look after you.
What is happening to Tasmanian Bloodstock and what if I was a Member?
Neil and Jessie are focussing on their racing stable and are stepping back from the Tasmanian Bloodstock on-course experience. All Tasmanian Bloodstock members are welcome to register and join ROCT.
If my horse wins do I still go to the winning Owners area at the track?
Sure do. Each of the race clubs will also continue to do what they do for winning Owners.
