Tasmania certainly punches above its weight when it come to the states harness racing breeding industry.
With horses such as Beautide, Ignatius, Miss Graceland, Nostra Beach and Shezallapples winning Group 1 races in the past few years.
Last night in Launceston, Botra Tasmania acknowledged the success of the Breeders of the six races held across the Tasmanian Sires’ Stakes series during the past season.>
Tasracing’s Acting CEO Alicia Fuller attended the event presenting the awards during the evening. This continues Tasracing’s commitment of working with industry to support and promote the harness breeding industry in Tasmania going forward.
Also showing the association’s support to the future of the industry there was also a presentation to concession driver Conor Crook who recently took out the Botra Concession Drivers Series that was held over six races with two heats being conducted in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport.
