Two of Tasmania’s talented young drivers Jacob Duggan and Brodie Davis have been selected to represent the state at the Inter Dominion in Melbourne next month.
Davis and Duggan will participate in the Mini-Trot race that will be run at Melton on Inter Dominion final night on December 15.
The 12-year-olds are sons of two of the state’s prominent harness trainers Steve Davis and Adrian Duggan.
Jacob and Brodie have been driving in mini-trot races since they were six and both have matured into competent young reinsmen.
Jacob will drive his grey horse Lightning Strike while Brodie will be aboard his grey Chamfer Star.
Mini-Trot racing resumed in earnest in Tasmania about three years ago and its popularity has continued to grow.
