The Office of Racing Integrity Grading Panel has determined the top four seeds for the 2019 Group Two Launceston Cup.
In alphabetical order, the seeded greyhounds are:
CORYKODI – Winner of the 2019 Group 3 Devonport Cup. Finalist in the 2018 Group 3 Gold Coast Cup and the Ipswich Sprint. Winner of 27 races from 60 starts with 17 placings. Prizemoney earnings of over $110,000.
DEL REY – Last year’s winner. Also the winner of the 2018 Group 3 Gold Coast Cup and finalist in the 2018 Group 2 Lismore Workers Club Cup, Group 3 Darwin Cup, Group 3 Ipswich Cup & the Group 3 Queensland Cup. Winner of 20 races and placed in 40 races from 96 starts with earnings of nearly $140,000.
DESPACITO – Winner of the 2018 Million Dollar Chase at Wentworth Park and finalist in the 2018 Group 1 Hobart Thousand and the Group 3 Devonport Cup. Winner of 14 races from 46 starts and stakes of over $115,000.
JUST BROWSING – Finalist in the recent 2019 Group 3 Devonport Cup. Winner of the 2018 Illingworth Classic, Ladies Bracelet, J.G. Nelson Cup & Tasmanian Oaks. Winner of 15 races from 23 starts with stakes of nearly $50,000.
