Tasracing has reviewed the recommendations of the Programming Sub Committee following the meeting on 3 September 2020 and has agreed to extend the trial period for the removal of the conditions of Reverse Order of Grade and Reverse Order of Choice for Free-to-All Masters races for a further three months.
Proposed amendments to the Minimum Nominations policy which allows the first Grade 6 (sprint) race on a program to be conducted with only 6 starters and a change in the order in which races are scheduled (should the programmed races not be supported) have also been adopted effective from 19 October 2020.
Details of the amended policy can be viewed here.
Policies are continually monitored to ensure they are working to meet the expectations and requirements of the industry and participants are encouraged to provide written comments, either supporting or opposing the removal of the conditions for Free-to-All Masters races or any other conditions by close of business on Wednesday 11 November 2020.
