Tasracing, in conjunction with the Thoroughbred Advisory Network, is pleased to announce that from 1 October 2021 the Code Funding Allocation for 2021/22 will be implemented as follows.
Base stakes to increase:
- MDN to BM70 increased from $20,000 to $21,000
- Age MDN increased from $20,500 to $22,500
- CL3 to BM71+ increased from $20,500 to $23,000
- Age HCP increased from $21,000 to $23,000
- Open HCP increased from $21,000 to $25,000
The following Feature Races will see an increase:
- Newmarket HCP raised from $100k to $125k
- Summer Cup raised from $50k to $75k
- 3YO Classic raised from $50k to $75k
- St Leger raised from $30k to $50k
King Island will see an increase in base stakes:
- Class A – $2,700 raised to $3,100
- Class B – $2,900 raised to $3,400
- Trophy Race – $2,900 raised to $3,400
- King Island Cup – $4,000 raised to $4,500
Prizemoney distribution will be paid down to 6th (Previously paid to 5th)
An increase to Riding Fees – $195 to $206
An increase to Trial Riding Fees – $53 to $60
