Pyengana dairy farmers and hobby breeders Michael and Carol Le Fevre have been long-time supporters of the Tasmanian Harness Yearling Sale.

Their list of credits include the Hobart Pacing Cup winner Purple Haze, the Albion Park winner One Man’s Pass, Budding Artist, Sam Carmichael and the Tasmanian Sales Classic winner Lady Elaine.

The couple has a single nomination for this year’s Sale to be held next Saturday afternoon at Carrick Park.

It is Lot 3, a well-grown, athletic filly by the world champion and now leading sire Sweet Lou out of the Tiz A Masterpiece mare Lady Elaine, and is her second foal. Her first foal, A Minutes Silence (also by Sweet Lou), has been placed in two of his three starts including the Tasmanian Sweepstakes Final.

Lady Elaine’s dam, Motoring Rivers, ranks as a half-sister to four winners including Purple Haze.

In the back removes of the filly’s pedigree are pacers of the calibre of Swishinova ($98,675), Raeburn Lass, Quisquillas (Vic. Youthful) and La Rope.
