Tasracing in conjunction with the Tasmanian Trotting Club are happy to announce the introduction of a new Sprint Series – The Dynamo.
Held at Ladbrokes Park, Elwick Friday 10th November, this event will provide community and sporting clubs the opportunity to enjoy a night at the races along with the chance for ten clubs to win $1,000 each.
Ten (10) heats will be held with all races run over 1120m.
Maximum field sizes of 6 with races to be drawn through a block nomination selection process. Race conditions available here.
Clubs would be requested to register their participation. 60 clubs will be randomly selected, and each chosen club would be allocated a horse across the 10 races. If insufficient Clubs nominate there would then be the opportunity for registered Clubs to be drawn more than once.
Race prizemoney will be spread across all runners:
- 1st – $5,335.00 (55%)
- 2nd – $1,697.50 (17.5%)
- 3rd – $1,212.50 (12.5%)
- 4th – $727.50 (7.5%)
- 5th – $485.00 (5%)
- 6th – $242.50 (2.5%)
Additionally, a bonus will be paid to the fastest race time of the night:
- $10k bonus to be paid to the Owner of the horse with the quickest race time
- $7.5k bonus to be paid to the Trainer of the horse with the quickest race time
- $2.5k bonus to be paid to the Driver of the horse with the quickest race time
Nominations for They Dynamo will close at 9:30am on Tuesday, 7th November 2023 with fields to be released by 5pm that day.
Nominations for the Launceston meeting on Sunday 12th November will close at 9:30am on Wednesday, 8th November 2023 with fields to be released by 5pm that day.
