Tasracing can confirm that an appeal has been lodged against the Latrobe Council permit being granted for our proposed new tracks.
The appeal was lodged by a Latrobe resident and contains a mix of concerns that relate to the Planning Scheme and some general objections.
On face value, Tasracing believes the Development Application and conditions included by Council address the appellant’s concerns.
Irrespective, the appeal is now run by TasCAT. There is a Preliminary Consultation (mediation) scheduled for 13 November and we hope to be able to share further information on timing and next steps after that.
