Tasracing notes the decision of the Supreme Court of Tasmania earlier today.
Tasracing CEO Andrew Jenkins said the ruling meant that the company was unable to take any further action to prevent harness racing industry participants Ben and Tim Yole and Nathan and Mitchell Ford from entering race tracks under its control as a result of matters raised in the Murrihy Report until such time as the matter is finally determined by the Court on 21 March
“This is a disappointing outcome but Tasracing will, of course, comply with the decision of the Supreme Court. I will, as a matter of urgency, write to the Director of Racing encouraging him to consider powers available to him under the Act to address the serious issues raised in the Murrihy report,” he said.
