Tasracing has reviewed the recommendations of the Programming Sub Committee following the meeting on 29 August 2022 and has amended the Minimum Nominations Policy effective from 1 December 2022.
The amendment to the Minimum Nominations is that unless otherwise stipulated, no Distance races will be conducted unless there are at least 4 eligible first preference nomination.
From February 2023 there will be a Free-to-All Distance race programmed every two weeks where practical at Launceston.
The Postponed And Abandoned Races Policy has been updated with more detail around specific situations for clarity.

Policies are continually monitored to ensure they are working to meet the expectations and requirements of the industry. Participants are encouraged to provide written comments and/or suggestions for any improvements to their Club or Tasracing to assist in this ongoing review process.
