UBET Park at Elwick will host the $40,000 UBET Tasmania Cup at 5.14pm on Sunday (20 December).
Three interstate runners – Hilltop Hustler NZ, Lets Elope NZ and Glenferrie Hood NZ – have made the trip to Hobart for the season’s major harness race.
Outstanding young Tasmanian drivers Alex Ashwood and Josh Duggan have also returned to the state for the meeting.
The 11-race card also features the $20,000 UBET George Johnson for mares, the second heat of the Smithawards Hobart Pacing Cup and three heats of the Eric Reece Memorial.
Sky Racing’s Gareth Hall will be trackside and will be live hosting the day’s racing to a national audience.
The first race starts at 1.34pm with the final event at 7.30pm.
