ELLEN RIXON is just starting to make her way in harness racing’s driving ranks but she’s quickly making a name for herself.
The 18-year-old left school just over two years ago to try and carve a career in the sort and within 18 months she started to make her presence felt and this season she sits comfortably in the top six on the driver’s premiership table to earn her place as one of New South wales’ representatives at the Australian Drivers Championship in Hobart this month.
Rixon has driven seven winners from 62 drives along with 15 minor placings as of October 11.
