DISCUSSIONS ON NEW TRACK DEVELOPMENT
FOR NORTH WEST COAST

Tasracing extends an invitation to all industry participants of all three codes to attend a meeting in respect to the new tracks for both harness and greyhound racing to be built on the North West Coast.

The purpose of the meeting is to have initial discussions and gather information on the industry requirements for the development of the new tracks.

While a site is yet to be determined, one option is the development of a tri-code facility at Spreyton.

Professor David Eager, a renowned greyhound track design specialist will be in attendance at the meeting.

The meeting will commence at 12 Noon on Thursday 3 December 2020 at The Birdcage Tavern, Spreyton Racecourse, Spreyton.

All industry participants are encouraged to attend and provide their thoughts and views on the industry requirement for the new facilities.

To ensure adherence to COVID-19 requirements in respect to density and distancing, participants are required to register their attendance prior to 10am on Tuesday 1 December 2020 by contacting one of the following:

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, numbers at the meeting will be capped, so please register your participation to ensure your attendance at this important meeting on the future of racing on the North West Coast.
