All greyhounds entering GAP must have a current C5 vaccination.
Following a review, GAP have amended the definition of a ‘current vaccine’ to one that is administered a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 11 months prior to entry (previously it was a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 9 months).
The GAP have also amended the Wait List eligibility criteria. Previously, to gain a place on the Wait List, a greyhound must have completed the 28-day wind-down and must have had a current C5 vaccination. Now, to join the wait list, a greyhound must only have completed the wind-down period.
When a greyhound nears the top of the wait list, the GAP team will notify the owner, and the owner must ensure the greyhound has a current C5 vaccination before entry to GAP.
