People currently in Tasmania who have been in Victoria on or since 8 July, and are not currently subject to a quarantine requirement, will not be required to wear a face mask in public or limit movement in the community from 12:01am tomorrow, Saturday 24 July.
People currently in Tasmania who have been in South Australia on or since 8 July, and are not subject to a quarantine requirement, are required to continue wearing a face mask in public and limit movement for 14 days until further notice – this will be reviewed on Sunday 25 July.
Travellers should continue to monitor their health and if they develop even mild cold or flu-like symptoms, call the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 to book a COVID-19 test.
Travellers are also asked to check the list of high-risk premises on the Travel Alert page regularly. Anyone who has spent time at any of the high-risk premises at the specified dates and times must self-isolate immediately and call the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 for further advice.
