Based on the success of the Trainers Encouragement race and the failure of the C0/C4 Claimers, Tasracing will delete C0/C4 Claimers and replace them with Trainers Encouragement races. The only minor change to the conditions for Trainers Encouragement races is that trainers have no more than one win this season (it was no wins for the St Marys race) but preference in field selection will be given to trainers with no winners this season.
Tasracing will delete C0/C4 Claimers and replace them with Trainers Encouragement races. The decision is effective immediately.
Trainers Encouragement races will replace C0/C4 Claimers at the following meetings:
New Norfolk – 26 January 2016
Burnie – 5 February 2016
Devonport – 19 February 2016
Burnie – 11 March 2016
