Greyhound Recovery Rebate Scheme – Updated Policy

Tasracing has reviewed and made changes to the Greyhound Recovery Rebate Scheme policy. The new policy is effective from 1 September 2023. The funding cap has been raised from $3,000 to $5,500. The latest social media post by Animal Liberation Tasmania (ALT) and its claims about a greyhound called Just Like Jazzy contains a number of inaccuracies that need to be corrected. To begin with, the post inaccurately lists Michael Sherriff as the greyhound’s trainer. The social media post also indicates that Just Like Jazzy has been “retired”….
